📖 Equipped for Every Good Work
🌟 Scripture:
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” — 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)
💡 Reflection:
Have you ever felt unprepared for a challenge? Maybe it was a job, a conversation, or a decision you didn’t feel ready to make. The good news is God never calls us to something without equipping us for it—and He does that through His Word.
Paul’s words to Timothy remind us that Scripture is more than just words on a page—it is breathed out by God Himself. It teaches us truth, corrects us when we go astray, and trains us in righteousness. Most importantly, it equips us so we can live out our faith effectively.
God’s Word is like a toolbox—it contains everything we need for life and godliness. When we study and apply Scripture, we gain wisdom, strength, and confidence to face life’s challenges. No matter where God calls you, His Word will prepare you.
Are you spending time in the Bible daily? The more you soak in God’s truth, the more equipped you’ll be for every good work He sets before you.
🙌 Application:
✔ Make time for Scripture – Even a few verses a day can transform your heart and mind.
✔ Apply what you read – The Bible is meant to be lived out, not just studied.
✔ Trust that God will equip you – Whatever He calls you to, His Word will prepare you.
🙏 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Help me to hunger for Scripture, to learn from it, and to apply it to my life. Equip me for every good work so that I may serve You faithfully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
