📖 Rooted in God’s Word
🌟 Scripture:
“Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” — Colossians 2:7 (NIV)

🌙 Bedtime Story: Emma and the Windy Day
One day, Emma and her mom were planting flowers in their backyard. As they worked, Emma noticed a tall tree standing nearby. Its leaves rustled gently in the wind, but the tree didn’t move much.

“Why doesn’t the tree fall when the wind blows?” Emma asked.

Her mom smiled and said, “Because it has strong roots that go deep into the ground. The roots keep it steady, no matter how strong the wind gets.”

Later that night, Emma read her Bible with her mom. They came across Colossians 2:7: “Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Her mom explained, “When you learn about Jesus and follow Him, your faith grows deep and strong—just like the roots of that tree.”

Emma thought about the big tree. She wanted to be like that—strong and steady, no matter what. She decided to read her Bible every day, so her faith would grow deep and her heart would be full of thankfulness.

When we stay close to Jesus, learn His Word, and remember all He’s done, our faith grows strong—like a tree rooted deep in the ground.
