📖 God Looks to the Humble

🌟 Scripture:
“Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the LORD. “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.”Isaiah 66:2 (NIV)

💡 Reflection:
In a world that praises pride, achievement, and self-confidence, God offers favor to the humble—those who know their need for Him. He doesn’t measure greatness by the size of our accomplishments, but by the softness of our hearts.

Isaiah 66:2 shows us that God delights in the humble, the broken-hearted, the ones who reverence His Word and recognize His holiness. These are the people who catch His attention—not because they are perfect, but because they are dependent.

Humility isn’t thinking less of yourself—it’s thinking of yourself less. It’s trusting God above your own wisdom and admitting you can’t do life on your own. The humble heart invites the presence of God in a way pride never can.

🙌 Application:
✔️ Ask God to search your heart for any prideful attitudes.
✔️ Spend time in His Word with reverence and a teachable spirit.
✔️ Celebrate the quiet strength that comes from walking humbly with God.

🙏 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I want to be someone You look on with favor. Help me walk humbly before You, with a heart that trembles at Your Word. Strip away my pride and fill me with Your Spirit, that I may honor You in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🔗 Takeaway:
God sees the humble. When you walk in humility and reverence for His Word, you walk in the favor of the LORD.
