📖 Greatness Through Serving
🌟 Scripture:
“Whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” — Mark 10:44 (NIV)
💡 Reflection:
In today’s world, people often chase after recognition, power, or popularity. But Jesus redefined greatness. He taught that the truly great are those who serve others—not those who expect to be served.
When the disciples argued about who was the greatest, Jesus pointed them to humility. He didn’t just tell them—He showed them. He washed their feet, healed the hurting, welcomed children, and ultimately gave His life for all of us.
Serving doesn’t always mean doing something big. It could be helping a friend, encouraging a coworker, or praying for someone in need. Every time we choose to serve rather than be served, we become more like Jesus.
🙌 Application:
✔ Look for small ways to serve others today.
✔ Ask God to help you see people through His eyes.
✔ Remember that true greatness is measured by humility and love.
🙏 Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for showing us what true greatness looks like. Help me to follow Your example by choosing to serve others with love and humility. I want to live a life that reflects You—not one that seeks attention, but one that gives Your love freely. In Your name, Amen.
🔗 Takeaway:
Greatness in God’s kingdom isn’t about being first—it’s about putting others first. Serve with love and let your life shine for Jesus.
