Goodnight Blessing -April 9

📖 The Fruit of the Spirit
🌟 Scripture:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22–23 (NIV)

🌙 Bedtime Story: The Garden of Goodness
Sophie loved her little windowsill garden. She had tiny pots of soil, colorful labels, and seeds ready to grow. Every day, she watered the soil, waited patiently, and looked for sprouts.

One day, she asked her dad, “Why does it take so long to see something grow?”

Her dad smiled and said, “Good things grow slowly, just like the fruit of the Spirit.”

Then he opened the Bible to Galatians 5:22–23 and read the verse about the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

“God plants these things in our hearts,” he explained. “And just like your garden, they grow when we walk closely with Him.”

Sophie looked at her pots and whispered, “Jesus, help me grow good fruit.”

💭 Reflection:
When we follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit helps us grow the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. It may take time, but when we stay close to God, we’ll become more loving, kind, and joyful—just like Jesus.

🛏️ Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for helping me grow the fruit of the Spirit. Please fill my heart with love, joy, and kindness. Help me be more like Jesus every day. In His name, Amen.

🔗 Takeaway:
The fruit of the Spirit grows in you when you walk with God. Let His love shine through your heart each day.
