📖 My Help Comes from the Lord

🌟 Scripture: “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. — Psalm 121:2

🌙 Bedtime Story: Lily and the Tall Tree

Lily loved climbing trees, but there was one tree in the park that was extra tall. Her older brother could climb it easily, but every time Lily tried, she only made it halfway before getting stuck.

One afternoon, Lily stood at the bottom of the big tree and whispered, “God, please help me.” Then she reached for the first branch.

Up she went—one step, then another. Soon, she was higher than ever before! But then she looked down… and froze.

“I can’t do it!” she called.

Her dad, who was nearby, smiled up at her. “You don’t have to do it alone, Lily. I’m right here to help you.”

Taking a deep breath, Lily reached down, and her dad helped her climb the last few branches.

That night, Lily prayed, “Thank You, God, for always helping me—just like my dad did today.”

💭 Reflection:

Sometimes, we try to do things on our own and get stuck, just like Lily. But God is always ready to help us. We just need to ask Him and trust that He will guide us.

🛏️ Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for always being there to help me. When things feel hard, remind me that I don’t have to do them alone. I trust You to give me strength and guide me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
