📖 The Lord is My Defender

🌟 Scripture: “Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” — Psalm 62:6

🌙 Bedtime Story: David and the Brave Little Bird

David loved watching the birds in his backyard. Every morning, a tiny bluebird would land on a branch outside his window and chirp happily.

One day, David saw a big black crow swoop down and scare the little bird away. He felt sad for the bluebird. “It’s not fair,” David told his mom. “That big bird is too strong for him.”

The next morning, David looked out the window again. This time, the little bluebird was hiding in a thick tree, safe from the crow.

His mom smiled. “See how the tree protects the little bird? That’s what God does for us. When we feel small or scared, He is our defender. We can run to Him, and He will keep us safe.”

David nodded. “Just like the tree kept the bluebird safe, God protects me!”

💭 Reflection:

Sometimes, we face things that feel too big or too scary. But just like the little bluebird found safety in the tree, we can find protection in God. He is our fortress, our rock, and our defender.

🛏️ Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for being my defender. When I feel afraid, remind me that You are my strong fortress, and I don’t have to be shaken. Help me to trust in Your protection always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
