📖 God is My Shield

🌟 Scripture: “But You, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” — Psalm 3:3

🌙 Bedtime Story: Noah’s Shiny New Shield

Noah loved playing knights with his little sister, Emma. He had a wooden sword, a helmet, and a big cardboard shield that he decorated with silver paint.

One afternoon, they played in the backyard, pretending to battle imaginary dragons. Noah held up his shield as Emma threw soft foam balls at him.

“I can’t hit you!” Emma giggled. “Your shield blocks everything!”

Later that night, Noah told his dad about their game. His dad smiled. “Did you know the Bible says God is like a shield for us? Just like your shield protected you from Emma’s throws, God protects us from things that try to hurt us. He watches over us and keeps us safe.”

Noah smiled and held his toy shield close. “That means I don’t have to be afraid—because God is my shield!”

💭 Reflection:

Just like Noah’s shield blocked the soft balls, God guards and protects us from things we cannot see. We can trust Him to be our defender when we feel afraid or unsure.

🛏️ Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for being my shield and protector. When I feel scared or unsure, remind me that You are always with me. I trust You to keep me safe. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
