📖 God Strengthens His People

🌟 Scripture: “The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” — Psalm 29:11

🌙 Bedtime Story: Ethan’s Big Race

Ethan loved to run. Every afternoon, he raced his best friend, Mason, across the park. But today was different—it was race day at school! Ethan had been practicing for weeks, but now that the big moment was here, he felt nervous.

“What if I don’t win?” Ethan asked his dad that morning.

His dad smiled. “Winning isn’t the most important thing. But no matter what, God gives you strength to do your best. Why don’t we pray before you run?”

Ethan nodded, and they prayed together: “Lord, thank You for giving Ethan strength. Help him run with joy and do his best.”

At the race, Ethan lined up with the other runners. BANG! The whistle blew, and he took off! His legs felt strong, and even when he got tired, he kept running. He didn’t come in first, but he finished strong—and with a big smile.

That night, Ethan told his dad, “God really did give me strength today!”

💭 Reflection:

Just like Ethan, sometimes we feel tired, nervous, or weak. But God fills us with strength when we trust in Him. Whether we’re running a race, doing schoolwork, or helping others, God helps us keep going!

Dear God, thank You for giving me strength. When I feel weak or afraid, help me to remember that You are always with me. Give me the courage to keep going and do my best. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
